We have quality hardwood and softwood logs for sale. 

We deliver to Northill, Ickwell, Thorncote Green and Old Warden. 

Prices:

Hardwood - builders bag (as shown in photo on the right)  £90.

Softwood - builders bag softwood £70. 

Mixed hardwood/softwood - builders bag £80.

Prices include local delivery. We accept cash on delivery or direct bank transfer. We are happy to recycle the builders bags. 

You may be aware of the recent legislation relating to the moisture content of logs. It requires sellers of less than 2m3 at a time to join the Woodsure quality assurance scheme. Like many other small producers we have opted not to join but to utilise the option to sell larger quantities only. This enables us to continue to sell high quality logs without having to incur and pass on the costs associated with joining the scheme.  The logs have to be sold as unseasoned but they will be the same logs we have been selling for a number of years. 

Our focus remains on producing dry logs, keeping costs down, producing logs in a sustainable manner and helping our customers to only burn dry logs which is the key objective of the legislation.

We take care with the quality of the logs we produce to ensure that you are entirely satisfied with your purchase. Most of our hardwood logs are ash - considered to be the best hardwood for burning.

All our logs are produced in our wood just outside Northill, Bedfordshire. The timber is derived sustainably from our woodland management activities. 

Our logs are generally of a size that they will fit in the smaller log burners. We split them to a width of around 2" to 6". We do also have larger logs if required. If you let us know what size you prefer we can take account of that when bagging up your logs.

We can deliver locally, subject to minimum load sizes and suitable access being available. 

We are now taking orders for woodland products such as waney edge boards, wooden mantelpieces, hazel stakes and pea sticks. Please don't hesitate to enquire.
